For its first loan of the year 2021, Benin has collected 82 billion FCFA on the financial market of waMU securities.
According to the conclusions of the WAMU Agency, this loan was a success with a mobilization of 161 billion FCFA through the various tenders.
Beninese investors mainly showed their interest in this operation launched by the public treasury with more than 63 billion FCFA, followed by Ivorians and Burkinabés with 21.7 and 21.5 billion FCFA.
The repayment of these first bonds will be made on the first working day following the maturity date (In Fine repayment). The interest will be repaid annually on the basis of the interest rate set and this, from the end of the first year.
