Due to a rise in U.S. bond yields, the dollar hit a seven-month high against the yen on Thursday at 107.10.

Ahead of Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell's speech that could determine the trend of bond markets and global currencies, the yen fell to a 7-month low.

It should be noted that the dollar also reached a three-month high against the Swiss franc and rose against most currencies but in more modest proportions. Its progress was limited by economic indicators.
