Originally from Senegal, Abdou Diop is now working to attract Moroccan investors to sub-Saharan Africa. After spending two-thirds of his life in the Cherifian kingdom, he put his experience to the benefit of his region.

A noted player in the sub-Saharan expansion of Moroccan groups, the chartered accountant is now working to encourage investments from the north m. "Today, I am considered the link between Morocco and several West African countries and especially their private sectors. I am on good terms with all the employers' organisations, whose members trust me. They know that I am working for the balanced win-win partnership that Morocco advocates," says Abdou Diop.
Abdou Diop contributed to the African expansion of Attijariwafa Bank, pushing to the wheel and multiplying meetings with Said Raki, charged by the bank to gauge the Senegalese market. He is also at the origin of the partnership between Onee (National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water) and the Senegalese Agency for Rural Electrification.
The pan-African says he has seen a change in the way Moroccans intend expansion in Africa.
