The subsidiary in Côte d'Ivoire of the French group Bolloré Transport & Logistics has decided to distribute a global dividend of 5.4 billion FCFA on behalf of its 2020 financial year. For each share, this will make 90 FCFA of remuneration and it is the lowest dividend since 2016, according to data consulted by the Ecofin Agency on this company.
Note that its net profit which reached 13.4 billion FCFA is the highest in the last 5 years, as is its increase in annual comparison (+43.4%). Revenue rose to CFAF 84.2 billion, but experienced its largest decline (-4.4%) since 2015. In this context, its gross operating surplus decreased compared to 2019. The increase in its positive margin is attributable to the lower constitution of provisions and depreciation and amortization, and to higher financial income, which reached CFAF 12.1 billion.
