The CRRH-UEMOA, a regional initiative for better housing financing in WAEMU countries, has signed a partnership with COFINA Senegal for the implementation of a refinancing of housing loans from concessional resources.

 "The signatures we have just affixed to the agreements and instruments for the provision of a refinancing of 02 billion FCFA granted by the CRRH-UEMOA to COFINA SN for the financing of affordable housing for its customers constitute a significant evolution of the activity of our two Institutions. For the CRRH-UEMOA, it is the concretization of its desire to expand, with the support of the World Bank, the effectiveness of its operating model in financing access to property for populations with modest and/or irregular incomes", said Christian AGOSSA, Director General of the CRRH-UEMOA. For his part, Alassane DIA, the CEO of COFINA Senegal intends through this funding to impact the daily lives of Senegalese by actively participating in the program of access to social housing. He reassures that the loan of the CRRH-UEMOA in favor of COFINA SN will allow the latter to make available to its customers credits intended for the acquisition of real estate at a lower cost.
