As part of the 2021-2022 coffee-cocoa campaign, the National Investment Bank (Bni) announces an envelope of 125 billion FCfa for the benefit of actors in the sector.

The state financial organization wants to be a privileged partner of the coffee-cocoa sector. Thus, the bank released an envelope of just over 125 billion FCfa to support coffee and cocoa players. The announcement was made on Thursday, September 30, at the Noom hotel, in Abidjan-Plateau, by the managing director of the banking institution, Issouf Fadiga, during a networking event through which the Bni wanted to thank and above all, strengthen the partnership with its client portfolio.

The main cocoa marketing campaign was launched on Friday, October 1 in the production areas. On occasion, the minimum farm gate price for well-fermented, dried and well-sorted cocoa was set at FCfa 825 per kilogram. This price is significantly lower than that announced during the main campaign 2020-2021 which was 1000 FCfa. As for coffee, the price per kilogram is 700 FCfa for well-dried and well-sorted coffee, under this new harvest. The announcement of these prices thus marks the opening of the 2021-2022 campaign for these two products. The Coffee-Cocoa Council specifies that this main campaign starts from this month of October to March 2022.
