The pan-African investment platform dedicated to Africa, AfricInvest invests in Raynal Assurances Burkina Faso. With this operation, Sunu, who co-founded Raynal Assurances IARD in 2005 with Burkinabè businessmen, marks his departure after 16 years of investment.

The third non-life insurer in the country, with a market share of more than 13%, welcomes the AfricInvest platform to its capital. Via its FIVE vehicle, dedicated to African financial institutions, the private equity company bought the shares held by the insurance group SUNU within Raynal. AfricInvest is committed to “consolidating Raynal's position on the Burkinabe insurance market, and to actively supporting it in its development strategy,” said Omar Bekkali, Associate Director of AfricInvest.
