Coca-Cola announces the IPO of a bottler in Africa. This is Coca-Cola Beverages Africa.

The Coca-Cola Company owns a 66.5% stake in the Coca-Cola Beverages Africa Company after paying $3.15 billion in 2016 to buy Anheuser-Busch InBev of the African bottling joint venture. It hopes to make $8.1 billion from its IPO. Bloomberg informs that the operation should be entrusted to Bank of America Corp, Morgan Stanley and Standard Bank Group. Coca-Cola Beverages Africa operates in 14 countries on the continent and accounts for about 40% of the Atlanta-based company's beverages sold there, according to its website.
