After the vigorous rise in their level last Friday, the indices of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) got off to a timid start this new week with very modest increases at the end of the trading session on Monday, November 29, 2021.

The BRVM 10 index rose by only 0.06% (against 0.95% previously) to 150.21 points against 150.12 points the day before. For its part, the BRVM Composite index rose by 0.39% to 196.56% points against 195.80 points the day before. The total value of transactions stood at 885.587 million FCFA against 12.632 billion FCFA the day before. Regarding the market capitalization of the equity market, it increased by 22.607 billion, to 5913.119 billion FCFA against 5890.512 billion FCFA on Friday, November 26. As for that of bonds, it recorded a drop of 3 million FCFA to 7298.146 billion FCFA against 7298.149 billion FCFA the day before.

The TOP 5 of the strongest price increases are occupied respectively by the securities NEI CEDA Côte d'Ivoire (up 7.48% at 575 FCFA), Sitab Côte d'Ivoire (up 7.30% at 5,880 FCFA), Sicable Côte d'Ivoire (up 7.14% at 1,200 FCFA), Uniwax Côte d'Ivoire (up 6.77% at 2,130 FCFA) and Compagnie Ivoirienne d'Electricité (up 5.98% at 1,950 FCFA). Flop 5 of the biggest price declines is respectively occupied by the shares Sicor Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.44% at 4,600 FCFA), Nestlé Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.43% at 4,675 FCFA), Sucrivoire Côte d'Ivoire (minus 5.33% at 1,065 FCFA), Safca Côte d'Ivoire (minus 4.00% at 480 FCFA) and Ecobank Côte d'Ivoire (minus 3.37% at 5,025 FCFA).
