The volume of new loans granted by banks to companies and individuals in the CEMAC zone fell by about 10 billion FCFA year-on-year. The new credits set up by the banks of the CEMAC space also fell by more than 760 billion FCFA. According to the central bank, this slowdown in credit activity occurs in a context marked by a resumption of economic activities.
