At the end of a simultaneous issue of 5-year and 7-year Treasury stimulus bonds (DSBs), Burkina Faso raises CFAF 40.091 billion on the WAEMU financial market. This operation is part of the country's economic recovery plans.

 

Mar Faso raised on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 on the WAEMU financial market the sum of 40.091 billion FCFA. This operation, organized by UMOA-Titres, resulted in global bids from investors of 52.144 billion FCFA on an amount put up for auction by the issuer of 50 billion FCFA. This gives a coverage rate of the amount put out to tender of 104.29%. After auction, the amount of tenders retained by the issuer amounts to 40.091 billion CFA francs and the amount rejected to 12.053 billion CFA francs. This gives an absorption rate of 76.89%.
