The Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) recorded less than 48 million FCFA of transactions on May 12, 2022. Investors did not show a very great appetite for the stocks on the list at the end of the day.

The total value of transactions was indeed 47.574 million FCFA against 783.976 million FCFA the day before. Since the beginning of the week, this is the first time that the BRVM has posted such a level of transactions. Apart from the day of May 11, previous transactions exceeded one billion FCFA. Regarding the market capitalization of the equity market, it stood at 6473.853 billion FCFA against 6476.032 billion FCFA on May 11, 2022, a decrease of 2.179 billion FCFA. On the other hand, that of the bond market is stationary at 7698.209 billion FCFA. 

On the side of the indices, the situation is contrasted. If the composite index recorded a decline of 0.03% to 215.06 points against 215.13 points the day before, the BRVM 10 index is on the other hand stationary at 168.24 points.
