The Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) recorded an increase of 6.021 billion FCFA at the end of the session of the trading of this Thursday, August 25, 2022. This performance came several days of declines in the bond market's market capitalization.

The capitalization of the bond market rose from 8049.511 billion FCFA on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 to 8055,532 billion FCFA CE August 25, 2022. As for the equity market, it closed down by 25.375 billion to 6189.957 billion FCFA against 6215.332 billion FCFA the day before.

The total value of the transactions was 521.689 million FCFA compared with 26.247 billion FCFA the day before. As for the indices, they closed the trading session down. The composite index (general stock market index) thus fell by 0.41% to 205.63 points against 206.47 the day before. As for the BRVM 10 index (index of the 10 leading stocks), it also recorded a drop of 0.50% to 163.03 points compared with 163.85 points the day before.
