According to figures published by the Banking Commission, the investment securities of UEMOA companies amounted to 12,470.8 billion at the end of 2021. This represents an increase of 1,901.0 billion, or 18.0% over the year, compared with 24.8% in 2020, particularly in relation to the issuance by states of “COVID-19 vouchers”.

Financial fixed assets were valued at 258.5 billion at the end of 2021, down by 22.6 billion or (-8.0%). In its latest report, the Commission highlights that other fixed assets stood at 5 351.9 billion at the end of 2021, an increase of 803.2 billion per year (+17.7%). With regard to the various jobs, the same source confides that they increased by 197.4 billion (+16.7%) over the year to 1,377.5 billion at the end of December 2021.
