On Thursday, October 13, 2022, a certification ceremony for SMEs from the BRVM Lounge Elite Program took place. The Minister of Commerce, Industry and the Promotion of SMEs of Côte d'Ivoire Souleymane DIARRASOUBA was the president of the ceremony.

The vision of the Elite BRVM Lounge program is to prepare SMEs to access long-term finance primarily through a listing in the BRVM Third Compartment for the die Development of their activities: This program has enabled UEMOA SMEs to finance their investments through nearly 22 billion CFAs through various mechanisms (bond loans through private placement, private equity, etc.) Several of these investors have also carried out structural transformations in terms of both governance and management. There are 23 UEMOA SMEs distributed as follows: 5 from Benin, 1 from Mali, 4 from Burkina Faso, 6 from Senegal and 1 from Togo.
