At the end of the trading session on Friday, October 14, 2022, a slight increase of 882 million FCFA was recorded in the capitalization of the R& Stock Exchange Regional Securities Commission (BRVM).

Capitalization at the end of last week stood at 5984,134 billion FCFA against 5983.252 billion FCFA the day before. An increase that puts an end to several days of downturn. In addition, an increase of 13.453 billion was recorded on the bond market, to 8631.868 billion FCFA compared with 8618.415 billion FCFA previously. The total value of transactions rose a notch in turn to 1.746 billion FCFA against 1.007 billion FCFA the day before.

Furthermore, a contrasting situation arose with regard to the indices. Indeed, the BRVM Composite index (general stock market index) rose slightly by 0.02% to 198.81 points compared with 198.78 points the day before. This is not the case with the BRVM 10 index (index of the 10 leading stocks); it is rather down by 0.10% to 158.20 points compared to 158.36 points the day before.

The Flop 5 of the biggest price declines was occupied by the stocks Sicor Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.47% to 6,010 FCFA), Total Senegal (minus 5.86% to 2,250 FCFA), Total C& ocirc; te d'Ivoire (minus 2.13% to 2,300 FCFA), Palm Côte d'Ivoire (minus 2.00% to 9,790 FCFA) and Société Générale Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.16% to 12,800 FCFA). And the top 5 of the largest price increases were respectively occupied by the shares Bolloré Côte d'Ivoire (plus 6.67% to 1,600 FCFA), Compagnie Ivoirienne d'Côte d'Ivoire (plus 5.00% to 2,100 FCFA), SODECI Côte d'Ivoire (plus 3.85% to 5,400 FCFA), VIVO Energy Côte d'Ivoire Ivory (plus 2.38% to 860 FCFA) and Oragroup Togo (plus 2.30% to 3,330 FCFA).
