At the end of an issue of 5-year and 7-year Treasury recovery bonds (ORD), organized by UMOA-Titres, the Senegalese State lifted off Friday, October 28 2022 on the UEMOA financial market, a sum of 29,241 billion FCFA. It was in order to finance its budget.

There were a total of 43,741 billion FCFA in global submissions that were recorded according to UMOA-Titres UMOA-Titres. Indeed, the issuer had put the amount of 35 billion FCFA up to tender. That is to say, a coverage rate of 124.97% for the amount put up for tender. The amount of the rejected bids is 14.500 billion FCFA and that selected is 29,241 billion FCFA. That is an absorption rate of 66.85%.

Furthermore, for 5-year bonds and 6.01% for 7-year bonds, investors whose bids were successful will find themselves with a weighted average return of 5.61%. Bonds are expected to be repaid on the first business day following the maturity date of October 31, 2029, for 7-year bonds, and for 5-year bonds, on October 31, 2027

Interest will be paid at the end of the first year, however, at a fixed interest rate of 5.50% for 5-year securities and 5.85% for 7-year securities.
