In a press release published on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, the Higher State Control and Anti-Corruption Authority ( ASCE/LC ) invited former deputies of the 7th and 8th legislatures, who had benefited from vehicle loans, to repay the said sums within eight weeks.

The decision taken follows the review of the financial and accounting management of the meeting, fiscal year 2018-2021, according to ASCE. Thus, the institution invited the deputies receiving the loans to repay the sums due into the central accounting officer's coffers trésor as of the publication of press release.

L' ASCE/LC threat to this effect to implement the specific procedures prescribed in this area, after the specified time limit. The press release also mentions that copies of payment receipts must be submitted to the firm controller state general. Note that the 7th and 8th legislatures concerned cover the periods of 2015-2020 and December 2020 to January 2022 respectively.
