If the problem of the governance of President Adesina, elected in 2015 in front of heavyweights such as Christina Douarté and Kordje Bedoumra, against a backdrop of intense lobbying, however, arises acutely, today for some non-regional administrators, the institution is in an ascending depression. Against the backdrop, a feeling of demoralization that is gaining thickness, all over the place.

"Since the arrival of President Adesina, all those who fought to preserve the mechanisms of internal governance have had to leave."

The most flagrant case is that of the former Director in charge of the recruitment of Consultants: the 2016 reform had the unavowed aim of breaking this all-powerful Department, which jealously watched over compliance with the rules prevailing in the recruitment of Consultants and Consulting Firms, so that no one objects to non-compliant procurement.

LaLa  African Development Bank is not morally ready or has not yet armed itself to go towards this posture that would reduce the lines of friction that poison the internal ecosystem of the institution. Nigerian Adesina would not have favored the map of appeasement and consultation with subordinate departments, internal sources note.
