Leader in the zone of the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC), the Bgfibank group wants to  conquer market shares in West Africa, particularly in the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU) with its subsidiary  Côte d'Ivoire, said the ceo of the Côte d'Ivoire entity,  Malick Ndiaye, at a press  conference held at the  bank's premises in Abidjan-Marcory.

"We are an integrated financial group that operates along the entire chain of financial businesses, ranging from traditional commercial banking activities to structured and specialized financing operations," says Malick Ndiaye. Which claims to date for the group 3000 billion CFA francs of total balance sheet and 200 billion CFA francs of GNP.

According to him, Bgfi Bank Côte d'Ivoire has been able to capture a significant share in the corporate and private banking segments, despite competition from the Ivorian banking sector. "We owe this progress to our targeted commercial policy, our offer of efficient and innovative products and our quality of service with strong and recognized commitments", justifies the general manager of the bank section Côte d'Ivoire.
