The Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO) announced on Wednesday 9 December the launch of the West African Centre for Banking Training and Studies (COFEB). The role of this new communication tool is to contribute to COFEB's influence and strengthen its image at the regional and international levels.

"Its content is intended for professionals in the banking and financial sectors, public administrations, researchers/academics, external partners and the general public and it offers a diversity of information on the Centre, the Economic and Monetary Review (REM), the Study and Research Documents, the Activity Reports, the Working Documents, the COFEB Précis," the central bank said in a statement sent to the press.
