The Central Office for the Suppression of Cybercrime has got its hands on four alleged cybercriminals who are specialists in blackmail using videos. The latter will be presented to the Special Prosecutor of the Court for the Suppression of Economic Crimes and Terrorism (CRIET) Mario Mètonou.

The four alleged cybercriminals managed to remove more than 10 million FCFA from their victims. They are used to contacting their victim with adult videos. With these videos, they make victims believe that they are experiencing something real live. Then they crack and strip naked. The four alleged cybercriminals record everything and turn into blackmailers. So they blackmail the victims threatening to spread everything if the victims do not give them a lot of money. They managed to steal funds from many Senegalese, Ivorian and American victims. Their loot is estimated at nearly 10 million CFA francs.
