Benin obtains CFAF 31.800 billion in support and resilience bonds on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 on the WAEMU financial market. This is the result of a 364-day issue of support and resilience bonds (BSR).

According to the report of WAMU-Securities, the overall bids of investors amounted to 31.800 billion CFA francs on an amount auctioned by the issuer of 30 billion CFA francs. This gives a coverage rate of the amount put up for auction of 106%. The issuer has retained all the bids. This gives an absorption rate of 100%. The issued bonds will be redeemed on the first working day following the maturity date fixed on May 23rd 2023. On the other hand, the interests are payable in advance and are deducted from the nominal value of the bonds.
