The Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) closed the trading session of this Tuesday, May 24, 2022 with declines. The value of transactions stood at CFAF 815.463 million compared to CFAF 1.499 billion.

The market capitalization of the BRVM stock market closed Tuesday's trading session below 6200 billion FCFA. This capitalization stood at 6170.515 billion FCFA against 6209.265 billion FCFA the day before, a   decrease of 38.75 billion FCFA. This situation is caused by the poor performance of the composite index which fell by 0.62% to 204.99 points against 206.27 points the day before. For its part, the BRVM 10 index gained 0.90% to 161.65 points against 160.21 points previously. The capitalization of the bond market recorded a decrease of 14.537 billion FCFA to 7847.091 billion FCFA against 7861.628 billion FCFA on May 23, 2022.
