The market of the Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières (BRVM) is back on the upswing at the end of June 2022. After two consecutive days of decline, the two flagship indices recovered on Thursday 30 June 2022.

The BRVM Composite index gained 0.34% to 207.65 points against 206.94 points the day before. For its part, the BRVM 10 index rose 0.44% to 160.29 points from 159.58 points the previous day. This improvement was reflected in the market capitalization of the equity market, which rose from 6229.348 billion CFA francs on June 29, 2022 to 6250.731 billion CFA francs on June 30, 2022, an increase of 21.383 billion CFA francs. That of the bond market took the opposite direction, being situated at 7756.508 billion FCFA against 7769.694 billion FCFA the day before, that is to say a fall of 13.186 billion. The total value of transactions also fell, to 541.490 million FCFA against 1.411 billion FCFA previously.
