The BRVM Awards have closed the curtain on the distinction of the actors of the financial market of the Uemoa. It was at the end of two days of workshops and panels on various topics including the role of collective management institutions in the animation of the financial market or the technological evolution of the stock market.

For Dr. Edoh Kossi Amenounve, Director General BRVM, the objectives of the meeting are multiple. The first objective is to offer the entire ecosystem a framework for reflection on the concerns, issues and prospects of the regional financial market. The second objective is to make the market known and especially to "pass strong messages" to the authorities of the different UEMOA countries, to "explain why we are here, what we are doing, and what we can do to help the market. explain why we are here, what we want to do and where we want to go in our role as a player in the economic and social transformation of our countries. The third objective is "to strengthen our mutual capacities, to make sure that we are up to speed and above all to see where the others are and why we should not be afraid to be where we are". The jury chaired by Amadou Kane, former Senegalese Minister of Economy and Finance, selected the winners in different categories.
