Indeed, the objective of this agreement is to finance the Building Resilient and Inclusive Cities (BRIC) project. A project that is an important component of the Government Action Programme (PAG 2). Its main vision is to strengthen sanitation and flood control infrastructures in the municipalities of Dassa-Zoumè, Allada, Kandi, Aplahoué, Djougou, Lokossa and Pobè. It should be noted that this project complements the Secondary Cities Rainwater Sanitation Project currently underway in the municipalities of Porto-Novo, Abomey-Calavi, Bohicon, Abomey, Ouidah, Sèème Kpodji, Parakou and Natitingou.

Thus, this signed agreement reinforces the Beninese government's efforts to improve the living conditions of populations, especially those affected by the phenomenon cyclical floods in this country.
