The State Budget for the year 2021 second budget drawn up in the form of a programme budget, which balances resources and expenses at 8,398.3 billion CFA francs, is structured in 35 allocations and 149 budgetary programmes, housed within the Institutions and Ministries, as we noted in a previous article.


Each Minister has been appearing  since last Tuesday before the parliamentarians to defend the budget allocated to his department.

 
 
Thus, the Ministry of National Education, Technical Education and Vocational Training (MENETFP), will benefit from a budget of 1,011.9 billion FCFA.


According to Kandia Camara, who on Wednesday defended the budget of his department before the deputies, the said budget will strengthen the achievements of education.


 "We will focus on increasing reception capacity because we want a high-performance system and this obeys rules. We want students to be comfortable in the classroom and teachers to be able to do their jobs properly. That is why the focus will be on construction but without forgetting rehabilitations," she explained.

 
 
As a reminder, during the 2020 budget appropriation adopted in November 2019, the same guardianship was already carving out the share of the link with a budget of 955,931,905,381 FCFA.


After presentations and presentations followed by exchanges with parliamentarians, the MENETFP Programme Budget was unanimously adopted by the members of the Economic and Financial Affairs Committee of the National Assembly.
