A loan agreement for an amount of 49.1 billion FCFA was concluded on July 3, 2020, between the African Development Bank and the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire and the government for the financing of the support program for the response to COVID-19.

In addition, the council adopted today a decree ratifying an agreement between the Government of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire and the government of the State of Qatar on maritime transport signed on September 17, 2018 in Doha. in Qatar.

This agreement aims to strengthen cooperation in the field of maritime transport in order to facilitate trade relations between the two states. It provides for the mutual recognition of documents issued by the competent authorities of the two countries. It pools resources in the context of the fight against maritime pollution by ships.
