The Managing Director of the Caisse des Dépôts et de Consignation de Côte d'Ivoire (CDC-CI), Lassina Fofana, and that of the French CDC, Éric Lombard, signed a partnership agreement on Wednesday 4 March in the presence of the Ivorian Minister of Finance, Adama Coulibaly. The objective of this agreement, according to the Ivorian authorities, is to take advantage of the experience and draw inspiration from the model of the French CDC.

The Ivorian Minister of Finance, Adama Coulibaly, suggested that the agreement signed devotes several exchanges between the two funds and that this agreement "will ensure that the CDC-CI can be accompanied, benefited from the best practices that exist at the global level. »

Lassina Fofana, for her part, specified that the agreement in question covers the period 2020-2022 and will make it possible to pool efforts, experiences and draw inspiration from good practices "We will draw inspiration from her expertise by trying to adapt it to our environment…” underlined the Managing Director CDC-CI. The Director General of CDC-France, for his part, declared that the collaboration between the two structures will be a dialogue of partners "For the development of our countries, the development of a deposit fund is a precious tool for accelerating the development. Caisses de dépôt are development incubators,” reiterated Éric Lombard.
