A comprehensive evidentiary document has been submitted to the House of Commons Treasury Committee investigation into cryptoassets by Innovate Finance and Shearman & Sterling.

In its analysis specially addressed to the Treasury Committee, Innovate Finance showed that in recent years, the United Kingdom has been the main destination after ; s the United States for investments in distributed ledger technology (DLT) and businesses based on cryptoassets. This year, according to him, on its long-established traditions and reputation, while radically innovating in other areas so far, Singapore has overtaken and pushed the United Kingdom to third position. The United Kingdom must become a clear beacon of a “digital democracy” in order to regain its position.
