Between taxation, sovereignty and energy, the LREM deputy Pierre Person delivers a shock report on the use of cryptocurrencies. In the document, the man regularly referred to as "crypto-deputy" returns to this evolution and submits 22 proposals to regulate and protect holders, without stifling the ecosystem.

The price of the most popular crypto-currencies, which reached barely imaginable levels, fell sharply at the beginning of May, left many novice investors on the brink. The objective of the report, is to deconstruct and explain the profound consequences of crypto-assets on the economic and state power relations of the next decade.

The proposals of the MP are divided into five parts: the right to account, the right tax regime to be granted to these cryptoactives; NFTs (or non-fungible tokens); the monetary sovereignty imperatives associated with crypto-currencies ; the opportunities of decentralized finance; finally, the answers to the environmental impact of these digital devices, regularly pointed out.

Pierre Person puts on the table two proposals, including that of banning the professional mining of crypto-assets from carbon energy.
