Presenting the achievements of the Central Bank of the Republic of Guinea in the first half of 2022, Governor Karamo Kaba said that Guinea's economy would remain strong siliente until 2023. Forecasts by the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Planning reveal a GDP growth rate of 5.1% in 2022. This growth is driven by the mining, agriculture, and telecommunications sectors. In addition, the appreciation of the Guinean franc against the main currencies is causing inflation to slow down to 11.1% in May 2022, against 12.4% in May 2021.
