The President of the Republic, Alassane Ouattara, indicated on Saturday, December 31, 2022, in his message to the Nation for the New Year that the country's economic prospects remain “good” with an average growth rate of projected at around 7% over the period 2023-2025.

Ivory Coast, despite the difficult regional and global context with the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic and the Ukrainian crisis, has been able to maintain its commitments leading to the transformation of its économie . This with a level of inflation that is among the lowest in the world according to Alassane Ouattara. Thus, the country will continue its structural transformation, économie marked by an increase in the local processing of cash products, namely cocoa, cotton and cashew, in 2023. This transformation is also leading to the modernization of the country's cities and villages.

The improvement of Côte d'Ivoire will be materialized in 2023 by the delivery of various economic and road infrastructures, namely, the Cocody Bay bridge, the 4th bridge (connecting the municipalities of Yopongon and Plateau), the coastal bridge, the construction of eight interchanges and the extension of Felix—Houphouët Boigny airport.

It should be noted that, after being tested like all countries in the world by COVID-19, with a growth rate of 2% in 2020 and 6.5% in 2021, Côte d'Ivoire continued its economic recovery in 2022, gaining a growth rate of 7%.
