From Tuesday, July 5, 2022 to July 25, 2022, Benin is soliciting on the financial market of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU) an amount of 180 billion FCFA. This is a bond issue.

The Beninese State has resorted to the regional financial market to carry out a bond issue of 180 billion FCFA. The issue by Public Call for Savings will make it possible to mobilize funds to finance part of the investments planned in the national investment program for the year 2022 in order to continue the structural transformation of the economy. With an interest rate of 5.75%, the duration of the loan is 15 years, ç from 2022 to 2037. The interest will be repaid on August 02 of each year, starting on August 02, 2023.
