The purpose of the issue is to mobilize resources to ensure the financing of certain investments provided for in the 2020 budget of the Malian State.
The subscriptions that are currently continuing at the level of management and intermediation companies (SGI) approved at the level of the Regional Council for Public Savings and Financial Markets (CREPMF) end in principle on 27 November 2020. The transaction may be shortened, extended or moved at the discretion of the issuer, after consulting the CREPMF.
In these lean times and especially since the appearance of the Coronavirus pandemic and the embargo imposed by ECOWAS following the military coup of August 18, 2020, the WAMU financial market has become essential for Mali. It is in this sense that by order N ° 2020- 2564 / MEF-SG of October 26, 2020, the Malian Minister of Economy and Finance authorized this EPA. The National Director of the Treasury and Public Accounting has decided to make full use of this authorization and to issue a bond for a nominal amount of 100 billion CFA francs represented by 10 million bonds of 10,000 CFA francs each. An annual interest rate of 6.50% (650 FCFA per share) payable on December 4 of each year, is attached to the loan. As for the capital is payable in 5 years after a deferral of 2 years.
