Remittances from Egyptians living abroad are breaking records and redrawing the country's external balance. According to Central Bank of Egypt, expatriate transfers reached 41.5 billion dollars in 2025, compared to 29.6 billion dollars in 2024, or a spectacular increase of 40.5% over one year.
