The first Africa Infra Forum and the Africa 50 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders open this Monday, July 3, in Lomé.

africa50 has funded projects with an aggregate value of over $5 billion. The initiative currently has 31 shareholders, including 28 African countries, the AfDB, the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO) and Bank

Thus, the two-day meeting will bring together thought leaders from the public and private sectors to share their expertise on investing in infrastructure to develop Africa. The main theme of the forum is: “Bankable, Scalable, Reproducible.” On the menu, discussions will be conducted around this theme, with a view to paving the way for solutions that can contribute to the development of infrastructure on the continent

Numerous speakers are announced including President Faure Gnassingbé, the President of the African Development Bank, Akinwumi Adesina, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director General of the World Trade Organization (WTO).
