After the acquisition of the BNP Paribas subsidiary in October 2020, Vista Bank is pursuing its strategic vision in the Guinean market. It will invest €10 million in the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and small and medium-sized industries (SMIs).
These funds obtained from the ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development (EBID) will be used to offer medium-term financing to Guinean companies.
"EBID's credit facility will allow us to increase our financing of Guinean SMEs and SMIs, which will strengthen their capacities, increase their participation in value chains and promote Guinea's industrialization," said Yassin Bayo, Managing Director of Vista Bank Guinea.
The banking group aims to contribute to the industrialization of the country, as part of the 2020-2025 development plan.
