Total Senegal, a subsidiary of the multinational of the same name specializing in the distribution of petroleum products, will pay on December 22, 2020, for the 2019 financial year, an annual net dividend of 3.430 billion FCFA (5.145 million euros), have announced the leaders of this Dakar-based company.

Compared to the 32,577,700 shares that make up the capital of this company, this corresponds to a net dividend per share of 105.30 FCFA as in 2018.

At the end of the financial year under review, this company had made a profit after tax of 5.827 billion FCFA, down 8.12%, following the integration of a provision of 1.5 billion FCFA following a sector audit mission of the tax administration which resulted in an adjustment of the provisioned amount.

Its turnover had, for its part, recorded an increase of 17% to 448.269 billion FCFA against 382.174 billion FCFA in 2018.

However, the company's operating expenses had increased by 16.44% from 370.720 billion FCFA in 2018 to 431.690 billion FCFA in 2019.

As for the value added, it increased by 2.346 billion FCFA, standing at 23.284 billion FCFA against 20.938 billion FCFA in 2018.

The gross operating surplus was also up by 9.22% with an achievement of 17.106 billion FCFA against 15.661 billion FCFA as of December 31, 2018.

The operating result had followed the same upward trend, amounting to 12.247 billion FCFA against 11.052 billion FCFA in 2018.
