On the occasion of the AfricaCaribbean Trade and Investment Forum (ACTIF2022), in Bridgetown, the President of the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), Béné Dict Oramah, revealed that the bank intends to invest 700 million dollars in the economies of the Caricom states. The Nigerian assured that there had been enormous progress in accelerating the accession of CARICOM nations to Afreximbank and that the signing of a participation agreement would allow Afreximbank to operate in the CARICOM region and in practice.
