Increasingly concerned about the economic situation in sub-Saharan Africa, in this period of crisis linked to the coronavirus pandemic, Reckya Madougou, the Expert in Financial Inclusion announced on Thursday May 28, 2020, on the sidelines of the International Webinar, the forthcoming launch of a financing project for African Very Small and Medium Enterprises (TPME). An initiative intended to support VSMEs by the banks and financial organizations that were on the Webinar.

Committed to promoting the financial inclusion of populations on a continental scale, the former Keeper of the Seals of Benin, Reckya Madougou, does not intend to limit herself to the organization of the International Webinar.
To take action on issues of financial inclusion, the Special Advisor to the President of the Republic of Togo, announced at the end of the International Webinar, her immediate prospects which consist of the upcoming launch of her financing initiative for SME African.

"I will therefore soon launch my initiative to finance African SME by business angels that we mobilize," she said. An initiative that benefits from the support of the banks and financial organizations that were on the Webinar, as well as other major partners.

Among the financial institutions and organizations present, we can mention among others the BCEAO, Ecobank, Attijariwafa Bank, the Confederation of Financial Institutions of West Africa (CIF) to mention only a few.

A major initiative

Indeed, the perspective that is announced with a preference for support for female VSMEs, is intended to be a concrete, professional initiative, “in the form of a project pitch”.

In this logic, the projects selected will have, according to the Promoter of the Think & do Tank Team RM, "to know the taking of the participation of business Angels in their capital or will obtain credits from our partners".
