Fruitful exchanges this Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at the Primature in Lomé between the Prime Minister, Head of Government Victoire Tomégah-Dogbé and Paul-Harry Aithnard, Director General Manager, WAEMU Regional Executive Director of the Ecobank Group.

Mr. Aithnard went to take stock of the relations between the Togolese Republic and the pan-African bank Ecobank. Together, the two personalities also explored new avenues of financing certain sectors of the national economy.

"This country is our host country and we see our role as a strategic partner for Togo's development. We reaffirmed our support to the State of Togo for the development and success of the NDP. We have also taken into account the new realities with the pandemic which has had a rather significant impact on the economic development of several countries including Togo.

The opportunity was to see how we can dig new opportunities, analyze new avenues that will obviously allow us to create new development mechanisms, financing for certain specific sectors of the Togolese economy." said Paul-Harry Aithnard at the end of the interview.

The Chief Executive Officer, WAEMU Regional Executive Director of the Ecobank Group had at his side the Chief Executive Officer of Ecobank Togo, Souleymane Touré.
