The State of Togo, through the Public Treasury, under the responsibility of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, raised 22 billion FCFA on the WAMU regional market on November 27, 2020.

With an initial demand of 20 billion FCFA for nearly 60 billion offered by investors (i.e. a coverage rate of approximately 300%), these resources mobilized through two Obligations Assimilables du Trésor (OAT) issued simultaneously represent the last outflow of Lomé on the public securities market for the year 2020, according to the latest calendar from the Umoa-Titres agency published at the end of September. Moreover, Togo is not scheduled as part of phase 4 of the "Covid-19 Social Bonds" scheduled from November 24 to December 7, 2020, and which only concerns Côte d'Ivoire, Benin and Senegal.

In total, the Togolese public treasury will have raised 623 billion FCFA on the regional financial market during the year 2020.
