 The Africa 35.35 Awards today announced the thirty-five (35) young personalities
under 35 who stand out in Africa.
Formerly known as the Prix Jeunesse Francophone 35.35 and having expanded for
now covering French- and English-speaking Africa, these Awards reward young Africans and
African diaspora aged 18 to 35 who have shown outstanding achievements during
the year.
Selected from more than 350 candidates residing in 49 countries, these 35 winners will be rewarded
during a festive ceremony held on 25 November 2019 in Accra, Ghana. A great prize for the "Jeune
African of the Year" will also be awarded during the award ceremony.
In addition, several winners will have the opportunity to share their ideas or innovations in front of a
300 participants at a special event called "INSPIRATION AFRICA" .
For a 4th consecutive year, we are pleased to unveil the list of these 35 young talents
Africans or of African origin that stand out on the continent and in the world, they are:
Interpretation Cinema Halimatou Gadji, 30 years old, Senegal
In the cult series "Mistress of a Married Man" which has 2.4 million Internet users and millions of
Viewers, Khalima Gadji plays the lead role in Marème. Senegalese-Moroccan actress acclaimed,
she asserts herself as a female voice that stands out in African cinema. His recent appearances include

Martha Ankomah, 33, Ghana
