Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo officially inaugurated, on Monday in Accra, the headquarters of the permanent secretariat of the African Continental Free Trade Area (Zlecaf). Indeed, Ghana was chosen in 2019 to host the headquarters of Zlecaf, which aims to create a liberalized market for goods and services facilitated by the movement of people in order to deepen the economic integration of the African continent, in line with the Pan-African vision of an “integrated, prosperous and peaceful Africa” as set out in Agenda 2063.

Speaking on this occasion, Nana Akufo-Addo noted that this is a historic moment for Ghana, highlighting her country's pride in having the privilege of hosting this pan-African institution.
