At the end of an issue of 5-year Treasury stimulus bonds (ORD), the Beninese government obtained the sum of 25 billion CFA francs on the WAEMU financial market on June 9.

The issuer had put CFAF 25 billion up for auction. After the auction, WAMU-Securities officials counted 25.005 billion CFA francs of global bids. This gives a coverage rate of the amount put up for auction of 100.02%. The amount of the retained bids is located at 25 billion FCFA and the rejected one at 5,500 billion FCFA. This gives an absorption rate of 99.98%. Investors whose bids were successful will find themselves with a weighted average yield of 5.19%.
