Saham Unitrust Insurance Nigeria limited has announced the launch of its online travel insurance solution, designed to facilitate the subscription of insurance policies to its customers.

“The new solution is part of our efforts to innovate and continue to make insurance more accessible to the public. Saham Unitrust Insurance Nigeria has continued to improve its services in order to remain competitive in the global market,” said General John Ijerheime, Managing Director of the company.

“The policy provides better coverage for travellers, reduces operational costs and improves work efficiency,” he added.

Launched in partnership with Swan International Assistance, the new solution is designed to run on an enterprise database platform allowing all transactions to be generated with the click of a button.

Note that said insurance offers subscribers coverage for emergency medical assistance, repatriation and evacuation, urgent medical expenses; repatriation of mortal remains; Emergency dental coverage; trip cancellation; Search and rescue at sea and in the mountains; Loss of baggage and loss of passport.
