By finalizing the takeover of the activities of DIAMOND BANK CI, NSIA BANQUE CI consolidates its leading position in the banking sector and becomes a benchmark player.

NSIA Banque Côte d'Ivoire has finalized the incorporation of the Ivorian assets of NSIA Banque Benin (formerly Diamond Bank SA) through an increase in its share capital. This decision, adopted unanimously by the shareholders during the Extraordinary General Meeting held in Abidjan, on Friday, October 18, 2019.

The finalization of the Partial Asset Contribution, relating to the Ivorian branch of NSIA Banque Benin, for the benefit of NSIA Banque Côte d'Ivoire, required an increase in share capital within this subsidiary. It is a net asset of more than 6 billion CFA francs which has thus been received by NSIA Banque Côte d'Ivoire, whose share capital will consequently be increased from 23,170,000,000 CFA francs to 24,944,323,000 CFA francs, with a contribution premium of 4,624,878,626 CFA francs. This outcome comes in a context marked by a solid financial balance sheet and strong growth in results in 2019 for NSIA Banque Côte d'Ivoire.
