The State of Côte d'Ivoire obtained on Tuesday 31 May 2022 the sum of 77 billion CFA francs at the level of the financial market of the WAEMU. It was at the end of a simultaneous issue of treasury bills (BAT) of 182 days duration and of 5 and 7 years revival bonds (ODR) of the treasury.

The Ivorian treasury had auctioned CFAF 70 billion. The total amount of the bids is 82.949 billion FCFA. This gives a coverage rate of the amount auctioned of 118.50%. Successful bids amounted to 77 billion CFA francs and those rejected to 5.949 billion CFA francs. This gives an absorption rate of 92.83%. The bonds issued are redeemable on the first business day following the maturity date of November 29, 2022. Interest is payable in advance and is deducted from the face value of the bonds.
